Welcome In
The Lin is a Victorian styled house half a mile from the beach, reimagined by the team behind Matchbook Distilling. They came to Greenport to make farm-fresh spirits in an old fishing village, and somewhere along the way, the house became part of the work: a place to host, feed, gather, and bring people closer to the North Fork.
There are six oversized guest rooms, a garden out back, places to sit outside, and a culinary and hospitality team here to keep the coffee coming early and the nightcaps arriving late.
Enjoy the house as a fully staffed private stay, or join us for The Weekend Dose — a by-the-room weekend built around the water, the garden, the distillery, and the table.
The Property
Hydrangeas along the lawn. Lavender near the walkways. A saltwater plunge pool built for lounging. The bay just a ½ mile down the road.
The house shifts with the season:
windows open in July, wood stacked by the fire in October, herbs drying near the kitchen in winter.
Guest Rooms
Six guest rooms with California king beds, oversized baths, and space to settle in for a few days.
Some rooms open onto private balconies. Others face the gardens.
No two are exactly alike.

A few times each season, we release individual rooms for guests who want a quieter stay at the house. Dates are very limited and announced first on Instagram @TheLinBeachHouse
R&R General Store
A small store at the property carrying bottles, pantry goods, ceramics, provisions, and objects tied to the house, the island and Matchbook.
