Tid Bit
The Lin sits within a working landscape of fishermen, farms, oyster growers, vineyards, and small harbors. Most of what shapes the house begins somewhere outside it.
Waters
Pound trap fishing between the North Fork and Shelter Island.
Cold mornings pulling oysters from the bay.
Coffee carried onto the boat before sunrise.
Farms
Road side farm stand are a must along your journey out. Patty's Patch, Eight Hands,KK's, Deep Roots and Trieber Farms are a must see.
Seasons
The North Fork changes completely every few months.
Hydrangeas and beach traffic in summer.
Harvest and smoke in fall.
Quiet roads and frozen docks in winter.
Mud, fog, and green shoots in spring.
The house moves with it.
